For 5 weeks this summer, 24 participants took part in the TTC Summer Camp, located in Changsha, Hunan. The program running between June and August, included an intensive leadership course that prepared the participants for looking after children. Having learnt skills in running activities such as dancing, drawing and group building, the participants moved to different places to work in their respective summer camps.

During their days at the summer camp, participants ran English building activities along with games and entertainment for up to 20 children. In the following weeks they changed camps at least 3 times to give them an opportunity to experience different parts of China and meet new groups of children.

Many friendships were formed between the participants and the children and some even had the chance to appear on Chinese television together, but for all it will remain an experience that they won’t forget soon.
